Why good ideas aren’t enough…

Read time: 3 minutes / Subscribe to this newsletter

You shouldn’t have to be loud or self-promoting to be heard.

Or to be trusted. Or to be followed.

That’s the premise of my new book, Unignorable. I’m happy to report that it’s about 70% complete.

And I can’t wait for you to read it…

So, I’m going to start leaking it. In the next few months, I’m going to share ideas, tools, and maybe even a sample chapter or two.

For those who've read my newsletter for years, you know we've tackled the messy realities of teamwork—conflict, dysfunctions, change resistance.

Now we're going deeper: how do you build the kind of trusted authority that makes people actually want to listen?

Not because of some self-promoting, personal branding scheme. But because we want to make a meaningful impact in our careers.

You have ideas that could change your team, your company, maybe even your industry. But having great ideas isn't enough. You need to know how to land them with the people who matter most.

One additional programming note: I’m moving this to biweekly for a few months. I never want to be “that annoying guy” who inundates you with content.

Instead, I want to give these new concepts room to breathe.

The last thing I want to mention is that I relaunched a second newsletter, One Step Closer.

This is specifically written for people who are actively considering Chapter 2 in their life and work. People who desire more personal freedom. They want to work less and make more… if it’s at all possible.

If you’re kinda tired of the corporate treadmill and interested in learning how to build something meaningful on your own, One Step Closer might be perfect for you.

The next issue comes out on Saturday, and I hope to see you there.

Your coach,
Chris

P.S. I always love to hear from subscribers, so please send me your feedback and questions. Also, if you ever need a brainstorm partner or an ear to listen, let’s talk.
